On Friday 29th March the Hodges Wanderers Team (Jemma Dorkins, Kate Banham, Victoria Whitmee and Stephen McCleery) are taking part in the Oxfam 100km Trailwalker Challenge in support of Oxfam Australia. Oxfam Australia works with local communities to help them create their own sustainable solutions to poverty. They promote education, ensuring access to clean water, teaching skills to grow food and advocating for their basic rights. By supporting Oxfam Trailwalker, you are making a significant difference to people living in poverty around the world.

This epic adventure will see us walk from Emerald Lake, up to Olinda at our highest point, wending our way through Lilydale, Templestowe and ending at Fairfield Park sometime on Saturday 30th.  With the help of our support crew – they will be there at the checkpoints to bring us food, cold drinks, spare gear and emotional support – we will start together, laugh/cry/support each other and finish this challenge together as a team.

If you are thinking of giving to charity this year, we urge you to consider Oxfam.

The following link will take you to our Hodges Wanderers Team Page where you can make a donation and/or leave us a message of support and encouragement.
