Many Hodges Employees attended the 2019 AREC conference in the Gold Coast.

The annual conference focused on building trust, establishing a reputation, catering to communication in a rapidly changing market. It encouraged our industry leaders to connect, think, innovate and grow.

Our very own Hodges Sandringham Director, Kylie Charlton was invited to speak at AREC.

Kylie Charlton shared her successful, yet different, approach to real estate and her priority to build relationships with her community.

“The connection with the person comes before the commission,” Kylie said. “To get a referral to their friends or their family is more important than a transaction. I always demonstrate that I can sell property and I can negotiate, but it’s absolutely about the connection. When you ask the right questions and get the connection, ultimately you get the commission.”

We certainly gained a lot of insight and inspiration from Kylie and the other guest speakers who are pioneering the way in our industry.

We are already looking forward to AREC 2020!
