Hodges Real Estate’s property at 34 Hanby St, Brighton led the weekend’s sales and sold at auction for $3.36 million — well above its reserve price of $3 million. Five bidders saw this rare convergence of location, land size and potential, exceed its vendor’s hopes by nothing short of $360,000 in front of a 100 strong crowd on Saturday.

Nathan Mawby from the Herald Sun labelled Saturday to be a ‘RARE winter Super Saturday’ with Hanby Street the highlight in his weekend wrap.

Stephen Cooper from the Age also couldn’t go past the Hanby Street affair in his weekly column profiling the weekend’s auction action.
