Hodges Caulfield is using its auction expertise to help raise money for a local Caulfield mother who has been placed under significant financial distress following the recent death of her 27-year old son Dr. Robbie Piro. The charity initiative will be held at the auction of one the area’s most distinguished properties, 292 Glen Eira Rd Elsternwick – a beautiful two-storey period home renovated by Olive Constructions.

Hodges is thrilled to be dedicating a percentage of the proceeds from this particular auction; houses of this period style are seldom seen on the market and attract a lot of interest at auction. A no-expense spared renovation by Olive Constructions has made this home all the more extraordinary.

“We encourage potential buyers and community members to come and show their support on auction day. People looking to buy, will not only be presented with a sensational family lifestyle opportunity, but will also take part in a great initiative,” Alex Flamm, Director Hodges Caulfield.

Olive Constructions has joined the initiative and is also generously contributing a sum of money made from the sale of their property. With the funds raised, Hodges Caulfield and Olive Constructions hope to deliver financial relief to Dr. Robbie Piro’s family and give back to the community they work so closely within.

The auction and fundraising campaign has grabbed the attention of local and national media with The Age, Property Observer, Weekly Review, The Leader, Property Review Weekly and the AJN all covering the highly anticipated event.

Attendees will include Masterchef contestant and Host of Kitchen Whiz, Alice Zaslavsky, who will be providing baked goods for guests and Melbourne singer songwriter, Lauren Glezer, who will entertain the crowds during the open for inspection. The Property Review coffee van has kindly donated their time to hand out free coffees to attendees.
