It’s always great to see a Hodges listing getting solid media coverage, and “Lee-Blair” at 72 Esplanade Brighton is a great example of that.

The four bedroom-property, built circa 1919, has been written up in no less than four major publications in the past couple of weeks, with Property Observer, the Australian Financial Review, The Australian and the Herald Sun all giving the listing a plug.

Of particular interest was the fact that the property belongs to Melbourne legal power couple Mitzi and George Gilligan, and that the architect of the house was said to be former Melbourne Lord Mayor Sir Bernard Evans.

Offers for this prestige property close on October 4th, and vendor Julian Augustini of Hodges Brighton has said he expects the house to attract a price in the high $5 millions.

With this amount of coverage, the house is sure to be attracting plenty of attention, and should see the vendors net the best possible result.
