On Saturday,Hodges auctioneer and Director, Campbell Cooney successfully sold number 7 Murrumbeena Crescent, which attracted five bidders and $1.61 million for the final sale price.

“In the 1990s, an architect renovated the 70-year-old weatherboard in Murrumbeena to create a four-bedroom home with outlooks over a pool. But the owners struggled to sell it for $980,000 during a dip in the price cycle in late 2011.”

The sale was covered by Domain and the Australian Financial Review because of the amazing results:

“The vendors made a $630,000 capital gain – minus selling costs. Divide that figure by 44 months’ ownership and they made $14,318 a month. That’s $3306 a week. Or $472 a day.”

The Hodges team is delighted for our vendors and this fantastic outcome.
