Julian Augustini at Connor’s Run 2014

Sunday 14 September saw several of the Hodges team run in the second annual Connor’s Run, from Sandringham to the boatsheds on the Yarra River.

As a proud sponsor of Connor’s Run, Hodges is proud to announce that the sold-out event surpassed its fundraising goal of $250,000, raising an incredible $282,791 for the RCD Fund.

Connor’s Run and the RCD Fund were established in memory of Robert ‘Connor’ Dawes, an inspiring Melbourne boy who passed away at the age of 18 from a brain tumour.

The RCD Fund carries on Connor’s legacy by directing money towards fighting brain tumours – the most fatal of all childhood cancers.

The day was a huge success, with 2,500 participants running in the sold-out 18.8km event. Congratulations to everyone involved.
